Carolyn Ryan has been with ZAI since April 2010, and is responsible for all aspects of business development for the company, participating in client meetings, forums, and professional organizations; leading capture and proposal development; and performing competitive analyses. She also supports teaming and subcontractor identification, collects business intelligence, and oversees all ZAI proposal submissions.
Ms. Ryan has more than two decades of business development experience in the Federal sector. Before her tenure at ZAI, Ms. Ryan worked for companies such as ManTech, CSC, DigitalNet, and Wang, where she maintained a proposal win rate of 50-70%. In addition to managing business development practices, she has established and managed proposal organizations, provided capture, and transitioned and managed contractual operations.
Prior to her service in the private sector, Ms. Ryan served 10 years in the U.S. Navy, where she oversaw departmental programming, planning, and budgeting; led the training program for a major system deployment; and participated in the development of joint interoperability of tactical command and control systems. Ms. Ryan holds a BA from San Diego State University.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and friends, and spending time with (and spoiling) her dogs.
