PTO – Repository

ZAI manages a 350,000 square foot repository in Springfield, VA, safeguarding 10,000,000+ original patent and trademark items and their related papers for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO), a national resource and major research institute for patent and trademark information. The Repository maintains the collection, and adds more than 130,000 new items each year. ZAI staff pull and deliver files as they are requested by Patent Examiners, and picks up and re-shselves returned items.
