Harry Needleman

Library Subject Matter Expert

Mr. Needleman has been with ZAI since 2005. With more than 35 years of varied information services experience, Mr. Needleman is a recognized subject matter expert in the library community. He has had an exemplary career specializing in both traditional and electronic library services, integrated library system (ILS) development and implementation, library administration, and personnel management.

As our Library Subject Matter Expert, Mr. Needleman provides a variety of services based on each customer's needs, including advice on library systems development and implementation, quality control, and staffing. He also supports our recruiting efforts for technical and administrative librarians and assists Business Development with identifying new opportunities and responding to proposals in his areas of expertise.

Prior to joining ZAI, Mr. Needleman held management positions for a variety of contractors in the library industry, including Library Associates, Inc., RMS Associaes, Labat-Anderson, Inc., and DataPhase Corporation, and integrated library systems developer. He started his career as a Librarian at Adrian College.

Mr. Needleman has an MLS degree from Southern Connecticut State College and a BA in History from the University of Bridgeport. He is an active member of the Special Libraries Association.
