Deanna Eaton has been with ZAI since December 2001, and oversees all aspects of human resources for ZAI. Ms. Eaton maintains corporate personnel records and HR systems, administers ZAI’s benefit and compensation programs, develops and maintains ZAI’s Corporate Policies and Procedures, and oversees corporate recruiting efforts. She also conducts employee orientation programs and performs ongoing personnel, management, and supervisory training. She leads and administers ZAI’s annual employee performance review program.
Ms. Eaton has almost 30 years of progressive, hands-on experience in all aspects of human resources administration, including 20 years supporting Federal Government contracting. Prior to joining ZAI, Ms. Eaton spent nearly 10 years at Logicon, a Northrup Grumman Company, where she managed overall HR administration for up to 1800 employees. While at Logicon, Ms. Eaton was instrumental in the development of a training management system that allowed the ability to track employee training for career development and compliance with CMMI and ISO 9000 processes. Prior to her successful career at Logicon, Ms. Eaton was a Personnel Administrator with The Southland Corporation.
Ms. Eaton holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a BBA in Human Resources Management from Strayer University. In addition she has her Professional in Human Resources (PHR), HR Generalist, and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications, as well as a certificate in Workplace Mediation & Conflict Resolution. Ms. Eaton is also an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Maryland Association of Affirmative Action Officers (MAAAO), the American Association of Affirmative Action (AAAA), the Human Resources Association of the National Capital Area (HRA-NCA), and the Washington Area Compensation and Benefits Association (WACABA).
